Andrea Lee was a Los Angeles born baby in August 15th, 1998. James began to teach her daughter golf as early as age five. Over the course of four years she racked up 50 junior titles. This year's US Women's Open was her first cut. Her father was there with her from her age of 15 and worked as a caddie. She was invited by sponsors to compete at the 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour, however, she was not able to make the cut. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup team as well as at the Women's World Amateur Team Championship. In the year 2016, she enrolled at Stanford University and became its most decorated player at that time. Through the next three years, she racked up nine individual championships. Lee left Stanford University and turned pro in 2019. Her golfing career as an amateur saw her finish 17 weeks at the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee received an award in 2019: the Mark H. McCormack Medal after finishing the season as the top-ranked amateur. Lee was an amateur of the top who achieved four albatrosses and four holes in one. The first time she played she was a top-10 player with two finishings. She placed T7 in 2020's AIG Women's Open held at Kingsbarns Golf Links.
